complain!
this is like the 3rd time in a month i've had an eye infection. the first time it was cos of my contacts, the second time was cos i was sick, and when i get sick, lowered immunity, my eye swells up. NOW its apparently cos i rub my eyes too much.
GAH
i'm so pissed. this not good for work, i mean, people can SEE that i'm not skiving lah, my eye is obviously poofy, but still, it doesn't give a very good impression.
and dinesh is home now, and i want to be able to go out and not sit at home looking like i've been punched in the eye!!!

sadness. anyways, i'm at home now, waiting for the stupid dell guy to come collect the cheque, they were supposed to come on saturday (i woke EARLY to give them the cheque) but they never showed. annoying.
I HATE MY EYES!!!!

ehlo
so, i've been busy. clubbing 2 fridays in a row is no joke man. i can't pull too many 24-hr nonstop work/party things anymore. getting old. (ack ack ack!) eh but working and nonstop partying is just not possible man. i dunno how some people do it. 1 week and i've fallen sick.anyways, so MOS sucks. i'm not gonna go there in awhile. the crowd is just awful.and i got stepped on. someone's heel on my toe. OW. it still hurts.
I TELL U, there was a weird character on the dancefloor. lets call him gross singlet guy (GSG). he was in jeans and a white singlet. and he was GROSS. first, he flung his armpits in prash's face. which prash was quite traumatised about. and he dances like an absolute toot. he basically flings his chest around. like "looks at me, i have a big chest". and it was gross. then he tried to pick up, and the poor girls were SO traumatised, in the end he had to give up. basically he just went to them and flung his chest at them. stupid cow!so gross!
phuture's still much better, though its packed, the music is worth it. i tell u, mos's rnb dj sucks. doesn't really mix the songs. and its boring.

i bought a new computer!!!woooohooooo!!!!!!=) soon i shall be connected, have a glorious 20" flat screen ultra sharp lcd monitor, 320gb hard disk, and a soundblaster soundcard to boot.HOOZA!!! muchos besos,

weird dreams
and then SUDDENLY i was in italy with siva, pam, justin and ainie. and they were showing me around. and ainie and i went shopping and i wanted to buy a bag but had no euros with me, so she changed sgd and euros with me and i bought the bag. it was such a cute bag too!bronzy with a little gold rose chain thing on it.
so then we were all walking around, and we went past this huge cliffy area, which was so pretty, the colours were so vivid! the whole thing was a bright sandy colour, and the sea was a gorgeous deep turquoise. looked down into the water, but i was scared after the whole australia incident so we continued walking and got to a little villagey market. the market was not as bright, but it was pretty and cosy, and not too crowded. not a very touristy area. and ainie wanted to buy cabbage! we kept checking the time, cos our flight out was soon. then dinesh called me and asked where i was and i was like "i'm in italy!but i'll be home soon" and for some reason that didn't seem to be very shocking to him. he asked me what time my flight was and wat time i'd be back, then we had to leave already to catch our flight.
and then i woke up.

movie reviews
there're many things i have to say,but lets get these reviews out of the way first. so last weekend i watched 2 movies, the first of which was Step Up. this movie shot to number 1 in the US, and remained at the top spot for several weeks, shocking all the critics, who panned it as a lousy movie with no plot.ok, so the plot was ur run of the mill plot. this movie shares similarities with you got served's plot, which doesn't have what umight call a mind bending plot anyway. boy is a poor kid, does community service at a school, falls in love with girl who's out of his league, girl falls in love with boy, shit happens, boy chickens out, someone dies, boy has a moment of enlightenment, goes back to girl, and everything is happy and dandy again.
yes i know, no stretch of the imagination by any means.
but still, i loved the movie. in fact, i loved it so much, i wanna go watch it again when dinesh comes back. i loved the music in the movie. hip hop fused with classical. veryyyy nice. and the dance scenes!!amazing. one thing this movie did with you got served didn't do was to spread out the dance bits evenly, so there wasn't a huge lull in the movie when only the thin plot was holding it up. i highly highly recommend it to music and dance fanatics, you'll be able to appreciate the difficulty levels of the moves, and the challenge of choreographing your own piece.

this movie was fantastic, the plot twist, the acting, hugh jackman's abs...nothing was wrong with this movie. the structure was also fantastic, i loved how they shifted the timeframes quite fluidly and made the audience wonder wait, what the hell is going on here!!! christian bale was creepy. its amusing how they tried to one up each other all the time, and took it to such freaky levels. good movie, i'd recommend it.the thing is, i'd rather watch step up over this one, mostly cos i want something a little easy on the brain these days.
